Vároldal is a steep, andesite-based vineyard at a relatively high altitude, where the Furmint vines were planted in the 1960s. The grapes are processed gently and they are never aged in barrels, so this low-intervention wine is a pure expression of the character of the vineyard and the Furmint grape variety.
