Patina Cabernet Sauvignon, 2017

Matured in Hungarian and French oak for 14 months. Excellent vintage, which reflects the characteristics of the terroir and the variety. It opens up slowly, but when it gets going it is a complex, weighty wine with a plethora of forest fruit. Neat tannins and great acidity. It is still a young wine, but for sure it has a  bright future.

Food pairing: Due to its high tannin content, it is best matched by heavier, richer dishes with blackcurrant characteristics. Smoky, black pepper seasoned meats like a juicy steak with mushrooms.
