Oroszlános Wine Estate Aszú, 2019

We follow the traditions: during the aszú harvest the berries are selected by hand, one by one, by experienced pickers in a process that’s repeated several times. The aszú berries are then macerated with the base wine, which is a fermenting one from the same vintage. The pressing is always gentle, the fermentation is slow, followed by a year-long barrel aging. After bottling, comes at least 6 month bottle aging in our 400 years old cellar.
