The grapes for this wine come from Villány’s iconic, Kopár vineyard and it was aged in the most outstanding barrels. This is the first super premium Villányi Franc of the winery and it was bottled after 39 months of ageing in oak barrels. The intense nose displays forest fruit and sweet spices. Its luscious, captivating flavors of blueberries and raspberries are accompanied by aromas derived from the toasting of the oak. It is a full-bodied but not cumbersome wine that exemplifies the elegance of the variety. Serve it at 16-18 °C for game dishes, meat dishes with forest mushroom sauces, or desserts made with dried fruits and bitter chocolate.
